Well my dr. visit went pretty good til she told me that traveling for longer than 6 weeks at a time would not be possible. I think I'm going for a second opinon later this month. I know I can get the test and Zometa at other facilities...but she said that I needed to see the same oncologist all the time so they could keep a close eye on me. Seems that anyone can read test results and decide if I need the Zometa or not. We'll see what the future holds.
Hot one here in Montgomery...no sign of relief for about 3 months.
I love your site, and certainly hope you do get a second opinion. We have met lots of folks that are traveling with serious illnesses, and I feel you can do this too. Anyway, I will be praying that there is a way. I wish you and Dick, my dear friend, all the luck in the world. You certainly do deserve to be happy!!
